GTA 6 Trailer Leak Suggests a Potential 2024 Launch
The gaming community has been abuzz with one primary question since February 2022: When will GTA VI be unveiled? This burning query emerged after Rockstar Games verified that they’re actively working on the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto series.
Subsequent to this announcement, more details about GTA VI than Rockstar would’ve preferred have come to light. Specifically, a significant leak in September disclosed a plethora of initial gameplay snippets and apparently revealed both the central characters and the game’s backdrop. This leak, confirmed by Rockstar to have been a consequence of a cyber breach, still has fans awaiting an official trailer and release timeline. There’s even ongoing speculation regarding the title, as “GTA VI” remains unconfirmed.
Ever since its hint, the digital realm has been brimming with speculations regarding GTA VI’s debut. Citing a recent leak mentioned by Inverse, a tweet by @Budzcario suggests a potential timeline for the game’s first trailer. The tweet reads: “Anticipate GTA VI next year. Rockstar might drop a teaser trailer around November or December, possibly aligning with this year’s Game Awards.”
Red Dead Redemption 1 remastered is coming out later this year. It will be officially announced this August for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. RDR 1 remastered will release sometime in October or November.

While this information is intriguing, it’s essential to approach it with skepticism. Earlier, another informant hinted at a GTA VI unveiling prior to 17 May, aligning with Take-Two Interactive’s Q4 2023 earnings call, which evidently didn’t materialize.
Furthermore, within the same discussion on Twitter, @Budzcario seemed to revise their statement, indicating: “GTA VI aims for a 2025 release.” The shifting narrative raises questions about the credibility of these leaks. Time will reveal the accuracy of these claims.
