GTA 6 announcement could be on GTA Online’s 10th anniversary
Rockstar Games has remained tight-lipped about GTA 6, ever since they first announced its development and promised that it would raise the bar for entertainment once it’s released.
Though a notorious leak gave players a glimpse of the game and confirmed that it would be set in Vice City, die-hard fans of the series are eagerly waiting for the official unveiling.
As per GTA 6 leaker Tez2, the announcement may be just around the corner. This speculation is fueled by GTA Online’s upcoming celebration of its tenth anniversary, indicating that the reveal could be imminent.

Tez2 shared his thoughts on GTA Forums, suggesting that Rockstar Games may share some information about GTA 6 during the latter half of this summer.
He stated, “I have a feeling that we could expect an update from Rockstar around June or July, most probably the latter.” Tez2 also mentioned that if Rockstar intends to tease anything related to GTA 6 within GTA Online around September or October, it would have to be part of the Summer update. He emphasized that Rockstar is well aware of dataminers’ activities.
The significant anniversary of GTA Online could potentially be a game-changer. Tez2 speculates that Rockstar Games might leverage the occasion to unveil information about the upcoming GTA 6.
The insider suggests that this could be accomplished through an event or activity, similar to the ‘Treasure Hunt’ used in Red Dead Redemption 2.
It’s worth noting that the Rockstar developers have made some ambitious promises for GTA Online this year, with a “plethora of ideas in progress” leading up to 2023’s end.
