Fans discover GTA 6 updates on an unexpected platform – LinkedIn
Another day brings yet another batch of Grand Theft Auto VI leaks and speculations, this time from a surprising source.
Rockstar Games confirmed their work on GTA VI in February 2023. However, since the announcement, concrete information about this highly-anticipated installment has been sparse to say the least. What fans have had to rely on are notable gameplay leaks and unconfirmed reports, suggesting that GTA VI might introduce two main characters and possibly bring back the beloved Vice City—a setting well-known to series enthusiasts. Interestingly, a Reddit post spotlighted the LinkedIn profile of a former Rockstar Games employee, Sayan Saha, which briefly showcased his involvement with Grand Theft Auto VI. While the reference to GTA VI has been removed from his LinkedIn, a snapshot of the original information was captured in time.

On his LinkedIn profile, Saha mentioned his contributions to “the upcoming GTA, GTA Trilogy Remaster & GTA V next-gen update.” He added that he completed “over 500 in-game 2D assets for the forthcoming GTA game – encompassing more than 25 distinct brands for the game, including identity designs with merchandise and interior prop labels.”
Although not yet official, Grand Theft Auto VI is anticipated to launch between 2024 and 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Even if the LinkedIn details seem credible, it’s wise to approach all rumors and speculations cautiously until further confirmation. That said, a GTA VI gameplay trailer and official release date from Rockstar Games would be greatly appreciated. We promise undying gratitude (or at least something close to it).
